Our CITRINE Aperitivo is delicious in a Port Light, Praying Mantis, Bliss Point, or simply with a splash of soda.

As our products are seasonal, there may be slight variations in colour, aroma and flavour from batch to batch. Some natural sediment may also be present. Once opened, store in a cool dark place.

Yes and no. It is less sweet, more complex and bitter than Limoncello, and is designed as an aperitivo rather than a dessert-style liqueur.

CITRINE Aperitivo most definitely evolved from the Bitter Limoncello but instead of being a bitter lemon liqueur, the CITRINE Aperitivo uses lemons and citrus forward Australian botanicals, including lemon-scented gum and Red Centre lime, to build a tart and sour complexity, which is balanced with the delicate bitterness from Angelica root.

CITRINE Aperitivo strikes a balance between bright citrus sweetness and a delicate bitterness.

CITRINE Aperitivo is ideal in spritzes, citrus highballs, Collins-style drinks, and light aperitivo-style cocktails, or even neat.

While fresh citrus contributes acidity, adding CITRINE Aperitivo to cocktails contributes acidity as well as aroma, bitterness, texture and length.

A versatile citrus aperitivo

What a seasonally versatile citrus aperitivo! Perfect for summer spritzing, but I’ve discovered now that it’s just as refreshing for chilly winter sipping with its zesty crispness, perfectly balanced acidity and smooth-as-velvet finish. Won’t last till spring!
