DAVO PLUM Aperitivo
Davidson plum. Orange. Rosella. Mountain pepper. Bittersweet and enticingly tart, DAVO PLUM Aperitivo is a celebration of the Davidson plum 〔Davidsonia pruriens and Davidsonia jerseyana〕, a fruit that is native to the rainforests of northern New South Wales and southeast Queensland. The bright tartness of Davidson plum is sweetened by fresh orange and the floral notes of rosella. A hint of mountain pepper lingers, adding a subtle spice to the finish.
A vibrant and versatile take on the traditional European aperitivos, DAVO PLUM Aperitivo is perfect in a Davo Plum Spritz, Baby Turtle, Walnut & Davo Plum Negroni, or simply with a splash of soda.
As our products are seasonal, there may be slight variations in colour, aroma and flavour from batch to batch. Some natural sediment may also be present. Once opened, store in a cool dark place. Contains sulphites.

I always like to support Australian distillers rather than big brands and so will always try a "red bitters" produced here in my negroni. But some of them, while quite unique, are overly bitter (I think there is a particular Aussie botanical they like using that I do not find very approachable). But this Autonomy Davo Plum Aperitivo is a very well balanced bitter-sweet concoction that does the job in my negronis, and can easily substitute for Italian red bitters in other drinks - as well as being very sippable over ice
This is a great additive to my cocktail bar, and service was impecable from Autonomy.

Autonomy has become hands down my favourite go-to for cocktails and aperitivo’s. The quality of their spirits is exceptional—they’re smooth, full of flavour, and so unique with all Australian botanicals. Davo plum is my favourite atm. Tastes great on ice, with soda water or in cocktails. Definitely recommend.

I’m so excited my order of Davao plum and amaro has finally arrived. Autonomy makes the best bitters from Australian native herbs. Medicinal. For a truly special spritzer, or something lighter the Davo Plum with mineral water as a refreshing summer drink and of course the amaro makes the best negroni.
