Davo Plum Aperitivo Bitters
Garnet red in colour, our Davo Plum Aperitivo Bitters balances tart Davidson Plum (a lip-puckering sour native Australian plum grown in tropical rainforests) and Rosella flowers with sweet Aussie oranges and a hint of Tasmanian Pepperberry. Sweet with a hint of bitterness, expect flavours of plum, citrus and raspberry with a slight peppery finish.
Like the famous, bright orange European bitter aperitivos, the Davo is best drunk with something fizzy. Try it in a Davo Plum Spritz or The Rosie.
As our products are seasonal, there may be slight variations in colour, aroma and flavour from batch to batch. Some natural sediment may also be present.

Lovely, flavoursome bitters as a drink by itself or a base for cocktails. Excellent service from Autonomy, obviously a quality company.
I always like to support Australian distillers rather than big brands and so will always try a "red bitters" produced here in my negroni. But some of them, while quite unique, are overly bitter (I think there is a particular Aussie botanical they like using that I do not find very approachable). But this Autonomy Davo Plum Aperitivo is a very well balanced bitter-sweet concoction that does the job in my negronis, and can easily substitute for Italian red bitters in other drinks - as well as being very sippable over ice
This drink is just delicious! Will be ordering more as we have nearly finished it already. So nice to serve as a spritz when entertaining! Highly recommend
I’m so excited my order of Davao plum and amaro has finally arrived. Autonomy makes the best bitters from Australian native herbs. Medicinal. For a truly special spritzer, or something lighter the Davo Plum with mineral water as a refreshing summer drink and of course the amaro makes the best negroni.
